I talked to Bryan tonite. In August he requested a mix cd of Built to Spill for his birthday. I finally made it and sent it last week. So he's been calling me as he's listening to it, to give me reactions and opinions about the music. Tonite he called and told me that song #4 "has great guitar" or something like that. Song #4 is "randy describes eternity", and yeah....it rocks out. But the point is, it's so fulfilling to turn someone to Built to Spill for the first time.

I'm like a proud mom.

And I feel like I'm doing him a service because he told me that the only cd he's listened to in his car for months is Guns n Roses "Appetite for Destruction". He so needs my musical guidance.
