ACL.

Oh, ACL.

You were interesting. HOT. crowded. and at times scary.

Would I say "fun"? No.

Because we were by a group of teenagers that talked through the entire Modest Mouse set, the only two bands we REALLY saw were Franz Ferdinand and The Pixies. We heard bits of Sheryl Crow, Broken Social Scene, and Old 97's.

Oh, and we heard all of Dashboard Confessional only because they were right before The Pixies and we'd already staked our place out.

The Pixies were fantastic, but mostly just because Todd loves them so much and it was nice to see him so excited.

I can honestly say though, if they sell 75,000 tickets again next year...we won't be going.
