Last night we went to First Friday with Jenny and Jason. It was SO unbelievably great to see my best friend again. We used to be so joined at the hip in the old days, and now we're lucky to hang out twice a month. Sarah and Mike were supposed to meet us, but the baby was being fussy and they had to turn around and go home. Such is the life of new parents. I guess. It's hard to remember because it's been so long. Anyway, we had a nice dinner at China Latina and then walked around and checked things out. Once again, we saw NO art. We always plan to hit the galleries, and then dinner happens and then oops, it's too late.

There was a dj in an alley between two buildings. He had garnered an okay crown until the man in the cowboy get up came up and started dancing. It was the most bizarre thing EVER.
Then he was joined by a large woman who was missing quite a few teeth. They were quite the dancers.
Today we got our new bed!!!! I'm sure there will be pictures of that to come.
It is so beautiful and HUGE. I practically have to jump to get into it. We went back to EL Paso Import Co. and bought a new bookcase and bedside table. Yay for new furniture.
